The Laguna Nursery is the most breathtaking nursery I’ve visited. This is a spacious place filled with gardening ideas and interior design inspiration. Even is you are not big into plants and gardening you’ll find this beautifully kept nursery an invigorating place. Playhouse Ready To Be Customized

This one is a 100% biodegradable cardboard playhouse that can be bought with a print or plain white for endless possibilities. This playhouse is collapsible and can be customized by kids. It can be a really fun and rewarding project for children 3 and up.  Visit Plastica for more information.

Egg Bird House

If you love the company and melody of birds this will be a great way to have them visit your home. Bird houses come in all size and shapes but I like the simplicity and modern look of this one. They come in eight glossy colors and are made of ceramic. These are designed and made by Jim Schatz in Greene, NY. Click here to view more of his ceramic pieces, there are not to be missed.

Kelly Lamb

Kelly Lamb is a multi-media artist and designer from Massachusetts. I found this really pretty plant pot set and thought it was fun to show you guys. Kelly doesn’t only has this piece but also other gardening accessories using her signature geometric design. The plant pot design allows for the pot to sit on different sides facing different corners of the room. There is also a hanging pot, bird house and mini greenhouses for your home. Wall Candy Art

Here are some other fun things for the home buddies. Wall Candy Art is an online store that not only offers home goods but also a line of decorative wall decals. I was attracted to their decorated piggy banks, outdoor lantern and their printed tableware. They are all really simple but fun and colorful.

The lantern is made out of metal and has a lace pattern perforated that can be used with candles. I like the idea of candle lanterns that make the area look really polished. Visit Wall Candy Art here.

A + R Store

I love websites that offer a variety home goods and accessories, they allow people to find everything in one place. These items are all from A+R Store, they have a really amazing collection of items.  A great place for holiday shopping!. The first item is a table grill, it’s portable and easy to use. A great piece for outdoor parties or beach days. I LOVE GRILLING food, I grill everything imaginable, from meat to pizza and even fruits. This is a must have on my list, click here for more info.

The second item is a less functional and more of a work of art. Don’t be fooled by what seems to be an everyday bracelet, this is quite a piece of jewelry. These scissors are articulated and can be opened and closed. They are made by the Milan based designer George Philip Pechnikov. Him and his family are know for their high end jewelry and traditional artisan techniques. This piece was hand casted in silver and plated with rhodium. Beautiful and super chic. Lastly, a tea stick for all you tea lovers out there. This one was design to make the process of steeping your loose tea easier. Just scoop the leaves with the stick and then cover it, the hook on the top fits any cup or glass perfect and it’s really easy to clean and reuse. Artesana Interiors. New York, NY

Artesana Interiors is a store that offers tiles, furnishings and antiques in New York City. Every tile and furniture displayed is exotic and sophisticated, most of the items are made and brought from Morocco. You can feel that every piece in the store was carefully chosen and handcrafted. I am in love with their giant tile collection. Tiles can be a great source of inspiration and here are my four favorite designs. These tiles show a great combination of colors and beautiful patterns.

Artesana Interiors is located 36 West 21st St. They have an incredibly inspiring showroom, you’ll feel you are walking into an artisans market.

Housing Works. New York, NY.

When you walk into Housing Works in Chelsea, you think you are working into an upscale thrift store with really fantastic furniture, designer clothing and shoes. When you talk to the staff and ask them about the store, you realize you are only seeing the business side of Housing Works. This Housing Works Thrift Store is only a part of a large organization determined to end the twin crises of AIDS and homeless. Their two thrift stores and bookstore are some of their most known businesses.

They believe that empowering homeless people and those living with AIDS is the way to get them started on a more fulfilling life. Housing Works provides the most successful training program for the homeless and those living with AIDS in the US. They guarantee every graduate a job after they complete their courses. This is the largest community-based AIDS service organization in the United States, as well as the nation’s largest minority-controlled AIDS service organization.

Their website offers furniture, high end clothing and other home goods for auction. All proceeds go to the organization. If you are looking for a designer item Housing Works has it and the prices are not bad at all. Visit them to see some of their items. Check their stores in NYC if you are in town, this could be your chance to find that treasure we are all looking for in a thrift store.

Moon River Chattel. Williamsburg, Brooklyn

This is a vintage home decor and furnishing store located on 62 Grand Street, between Whythe and Kent. I recommend you visit this store if you are looking to add a vintage character to your place. They also sell smaller items to accessories your home with a smaller budget.

Sprout Home. Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Sprout Home is a beautiful gardening store located on 44 Grand Street between Whythe and Kent Avenue.

The store has an indoor and outdoor area. Sprout Home not only carries an amazing variety of plants, they also carry wonderful home decor, books, furniture and even kitchen goods.

The store location is a quite and a peaceful area, the outdoor garden feels like you are no longer in Brooklyn but in the country side.

I really liked the variety of products and how many different types of plants they carry for the indoors and outdoors.
