Flowers are always a very welcome gift, with Valentine’s day coming soon why not give the gift of a blossoming plant instead?. I think flower pots are a more considered gift than bouquets, they last longer and they can become more meaningful gift. Although it can be an uncommon place to find flowers, Restoration Hardware has these pretty plants on sale right now. Check them out here.
Angela Adams is a company that designs all sorts of home goods. Their well known pattern designs are what makes them a brand of choice for modern interiors and decoration. Their website is filled with color, patterns, decoration ideas and beautiful pictures. These are some of my favorites because of their bright color combination and interesting patterns. Angela Adams patterns a part of their kitchen, office and bedding collections as well. There is something for everyone in their website. Click here for more eye candy!
A new year calls for a new day planner from Smythson! This one is one of the most luxurious brands out there. Smythson was started in 1887 by Frank Smythson. The company started in London and now has flagship stores all over the world.
Its long standing reputation for high quality goods is still what keeps them on the top of the list. They also make stationery, travel goods, handbags and other small leather accessories.
I browsed throughout their website for hours and their design, colors, and customizing options made things even harder. This purple collection is my favorite, the blue pages go so well with the leather!. Visit their website here.
The “Around The Clock” design by Anthony Dickens is an out of the box way of telling time. The cylinder rotates while the red line stays in place showing the time in intervals of 15 minutes. The idea behind the clock was to look at time in a more relax way, where seconds are not so crucial any more. Check out more of Anthony Dicken’s design work here. If you want to purchase this clock you can visit Tweak 99 here.

Wall graphics keep showing up everywhere but Blik was one of the first company to offer removable wall graphics. I like the variety of artists, styles and categories. Some of them are great for kids and some of them are more appropriate for bedrooms or living rooms. Blik also will take any type of custom order for your special make over project.
Blik’s goal was to give your room a change without making it permanent, this way you can rotate the graphics or relocate to a new home without having to worry about the clean up or leaving your wall decor behind. Visit Blik here
Wrapping gifts can be stressful, but this year I am going for something a bit more unconventional. How about using a plain color wrapping paper and instead of using scotch tape use colorful masking tape, this one is from MT Masking. There is a variety of colors, patterns and sizes. MT Masking is a Japanese company dedicated to make the everyday things more fun.
Their website is all in Japanese but you can now purchase their tapes on Etsy! I still encourage you to visit the MT Masking website for other fun ways to use these tapes.
This is a wall clock that is made with multiple clocks to form the current time. Every hour the needles move to spell the new time. I think this is an extremely complex and creative design for a wall clock. I would consider this a piece of art made to be functional and entertaining. This wonderful piece of work was made by Christiaan Postma, a Sweden based designer who also has made other unique pieces. Visit his website to learn more about Christiann.
Brocade is a store I stumbled upon in New York, they specialize in products with beautiful latices patterns. They not only sell wall paper but also furniture, accessories and bedding. Everything revolves around these patterns, they have a small collection of colors which makes their line stand out even more. Their store is in Soho on 59 Greene St.
I love fill patterns that create a mood in a room, this is the perfect example of one. This is romantic, sophisticated and simple. The greatest thing about their black and white patterns is that they go with anything you already have at home. Their patterns can dress up a room in a matter of seconds.
