Fjallraven.

This is the new “it” bag from Fjallraven, although the Kanken backpack has been around since 1978, I have been seeing more of them in boutiques and shops on the west coast. So if you are looking for the next bag trend, check this brand. They are based in Sweden and specialize in hiking apparel and equipment. Fjallraven focuses on quality and design, but they are not your usual outdoorsy brand, there are modern and dedicated to making every thing as functional and efficient as possible without sacrificing design. Tres Bien Shop.

Tres Bien is a Sweden based online store that gathers a classy group of brands for men. They carry A.P.C., Comme des garson, Common Project, Opening ceremony, Maison Matin Margiela, Pendelton, Porter, Church’s and so much more. This is the place to visit for men’s fashion and accessories.

These pieces are just a snapshot of their sophisticated styling. The bag is from Nigel Cadbourn made with dead stock 1942 British Army Drill Cotton and made in England. The boat shoe is a collaboration between Band of Outsiders and Sperry Top Siders. The blue desert boot is from A.P.C. with rugged blue suede and crepe bottom. The brown boots are from Our Legacy and the are made in Portugal. These are as classy as they come. Check them out here.

Romygold. BAGS TO LOVE!!!

Keep your eyes on this brand. They are making beautiful bags in all sorts of sizes and for all occasions and in really nice leathers. These are my favorite pieces. Keep your eyes on Romygold, they are my new temptation. Visit their site here and enjoy the eye candy.

Heritage Leather Co.

Here is a brand that makes handbags based on an utilitarian and vintage idea. These are made by Heritage Leather and sold at Hickoree’s. They come in different sizes, they are made with a heavy gauge canvas and a leather bottom. I like the details that went into them and how simply and functional they are.  They seem like a great bag to carry to the beach or on a weekend trip.  Check out these bags and more vintage inspired designs here.

Alexander Wang’s New Bags

Alexander Wang continues to make beautiful bags, here are my favorite bags of the season. They are made with supple leathers, metal zippers and have a very relaxed look to them. The deconstructed look and long strap bags are still strong trends, this is a beautiful mix of both movements. Even though they have a edgy look they are still very wearable styles that can be worn for years to come.  You can visit Alexander Wang’s website or you can visit Aloha Rack to get these and other designer’s collections. Aloha Rack is a great place to find designer brands that are elegant and easy to wear.

Toast

Toast is a brand that designs apparel, accessories, home goods and footwear. Everything has a consistent timeless look with a spring look. These are all pieces that you can wear for years to come without looking outdated. Look at their leather bags, they are simple, functional are really versatile. Their coats and shirts are beautiful, I like the small details such as the cuffs and the length of the shirt. Check their online store here.

Tootsies. Laguna Beach, California.

Tootsies is a footwear boutique located in Laguna Beach. They specialize in casual and formal leather shoes and handbags for women, they have a really good collection of boots for this fall so stop by and check out their most up and coming styles for the season. Their price ranges from $50 to $160 in most of their styles. Stop by their store on 1200 South Coast Pacific Highway, you’ll be very happy with what they have.

The 11th Moon. Laguna Beach, CA

The 11th Moon is a really charming women’s boutique in Laguna Beach. The selection of brands have a few things in common, good quality, comfortable fits and timeless designs. The 11th Moon is the type of store you go to find your favorite t-shirt,  sweater or accessory, that piece of clothing you will wear forever and only gets better with time.

When I went in the store I was greeted by Gillian, who was one of the nicest persons I’ve met that day. We talked about the brands she carries and how important quality standards are to her store and costumers. I love that they stand behind the smaller brands, they support their work and are proud of it. This store is not only a beautiful place to shop but also a place where you learn about other designers doing beautiful work.

Macalistaire. Laguna Beach, California.

Vintage stores are always a good place to find home goods, clothing and accessories. Macalistaire is Vintage shop located on 1950 South Pacific Coast Highway and is a spacious space filled with precious little treasures for yourself or for your home. They have furniture, decorative pieces, lighting fixtures, clothing and so much more. The home goods section was my favorite, because of the vintage furniture and accessories. Elle H Boutique. Laguna Beach, California.

I took a trip to Laguna Beach this weekend and finally got you the scoop on the newest and best boutiques in the area. Here is my first stop, Elle H Boutique. They are a woman’s shop with a great selection of brands such as Mike and Chris, Pleasure Doing Business, Black Halo and a bunch more. Elle H is a good store to find the most up to date trends at a reasonable price. They are having a really good sale right now so if you are in the area be sure to stop by 1833 S.
